10 Christmas Traditions

I am trying to start some new traditions this year. I LOVE Christmas so much. And December is one of my favorite months- especially if it is cold outside!! Bring on the snow please. So I have come up with a list of christmas traditions I would like to start or continue in our home.

  1. Find the perfect tree, decorate together, and have a sleepover in the living room that night.img_3246
  2. Have a Christmas themed “paint night“. Eventually making a book of all our paintings throughout the years.img_3392
  3. Record a Christmas song single together.
  4. Bake and Decorate Christmas Cookiesimg_3437
  5. Volunteer at a soup kitchen, homeless ministry, or shelter.
  6. Make Christmas Cards!
  7. Read scripture together everyday. (this verse list I got off of pinterest.)

  8. Have a Christmas Movie Marathon, complete with spiked egg nog!
  9. Take a Christmas- themed picture together
  10. Turn on the Christmas Station, stop by the coffee shop for some hot chocolate, and drive around to see the lights.

I have also been playing a new Christmas song on the harp every day.
